About the program

The main objective of this programme is to produce postgraduates in the field of materials engineering with specialization in materials to fulfil the need of Malaysia’s modern industries such as manufacturing and production, research and development work, maintenance and disposal, education etc. The programme equips students with sufficient materials engineering knowledge and soft skills to enable them to work effectively, not only toward their degree but also to deal with problems encountered in an increasingly competitive technological world.

Full Time – International

Minimum 3 Semesters (1 Year) 

Master of Science in Materials Engineering is recognized by Malaysian Qualification Agency (MQA) /  (MQA/FA3025) 

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Science from recognized institutions with related experience in related field recognised by UTHM Senate, with minimum CPA of 2.75. 
  • Minimum score of MUET Band 3 or TOELF 500 or IELTS 5.0.
