OBJECTIVE PROGRAMME

PEO 1

Implement teaching with high skills based on relevant theories and practices as well as demonstrate the authority of a professional teacher in the field of technical and vocational education and training (TVET) based on the National Philosophy of Education and the Philosophy of Teacher Education.

PEO 2

Critically analyze and plan the needs of technical and vocational education and training using knowledge and skills in the process of technical and vocational education and training (TVET] management based on teacher ethics.

PEO 3

Plan and convey information through effective communication through speech, writing and the use of ICT, as well as working in groups with a high leadership style

PEO 4

Demonstrate the ability to improve one’s knowledge and skills in line with current needs through lifelong learning in technical and vocational education and training (TVET).

PEO 5

Lead and participate in planning, implementing and reporting innovative -based activities, projects, research initiatives for the purpose of development and application of knowledge in technical and vocational education and training (TVET).

PEO 6

Acquire knowledge and diversify skills as well as develop individual potential by adhering to high ethics and integrity to contribute to society in technical and vocational education and training (TVET).

REQUIREMENT PROGRAMME

  1. Applicant must have a Bachelor Degree with Honours from Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM) or any other higher learning institution recognised by the Senate with cumulative grade points average (CPA) as follows:
    • Research Programme : 2.75;
    • Mixed Mode Programme : 2.75;
    • Coursework Programme : 2.50 ;

**The above mentioned list of CPA is the general minimum qualification need to be fulfilled. Please refer to the specific requirement for the academic programme to be applied.

  1. Application from applicant who possess a Bachelor Degree or equivalent not meeting the minimum CPA can be accepted subjected to minimum years of working experience in related field.

**(ONE (1) year working experience equivalence to 0.1 CPA).

  1. Applicants with APEL-T7 qualification (Applicable for Malaysian Citizen Only) can be accepted subjected to application to the postgraduate programme as listed below:

    • MUET Band 3 ;
  1. Applicants who fulfill the academic qualification from Institution of higher learning throughout Malaysia that is recognized by the Senate are eligible to apply for exemption from the English language requirements.
