The Certified Electrical Energy Manager (REM Type 1) course was successfully conducted from 24th to 29th January 2026 at Hotel Katerina, Batu Pahat, Johor, marking another milestone in professional energy management development.

The six-day programme brought together industry professionals committed to enhancing their expertise in electrical energy management and energy efficiency practices. Throughout the course, participants gained comprehensive knowledge and practical exposure in key areas including:

  • Electrical energy management systems
  • Energy consumption monitoring and analysis
  • Energy efficiency improvement strategies
  • Compliance with the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Act (EECA)
  • Structured implementation of energy-saving initiatives

The course was designed to strengthen both technical competency and strategic capability, enabling participants to plan, manage, and implement effective energy efficiency programmes within their respective organisations
