Registered Energy Manager (REM) Type 1 Training Programme 2026
The Registered Energy Manager REM Type 1 programme delivers structured competency-based training that develops qualified energy professionals to manage, monitor, and optimise energy performance within organisations. It supports career growth in the energy sector by equipping participants with practical knowledge aligned with Malaysian energy standards, national policies, and sustainability goals, helping them strengthen both technical and professional capabilities.
The programme runs from 6th to 11th June 2026 at Katerina Hotel, Batu Pahat, Johor. It combines technical instruction with real-world applications, allowing participants to build essential skills in energy management, energy auditing, and Energy Management Systems (EnMS). Participants also prepare for certification under the EECA 2024 requirements during the course.
By joining the Registered Energy Manager REM Type 1 programme, participants gain structured learning that strengthens both technical expertise and professional competency in energy management. They develop in-depth knowledge of energy management practices, understand Malaysian energy policies, standards, and legislation, and apply practical techniques in energy auditing and EnMS implementation. The programme also prepares participants for EECA 2024 certification while improving their ability to enhance energy efficiency and support sustainability initiatives in their organisations.
This programme targets engineers, facility and building managers, technical professionals, energy and sustainability practitioners, as well as individuals entering or advancing in the energy sector. The programme fee is RM4,980 per person for individual registration and RM4,700 per person for group registration. The fee includes meals and refreshments during training, hardcopy course materials, and a Certificate of Attendance upon completion.
