The Barista Skills Course UTHM provides participants with practical knowledge and essential skills in coffee preparation. The programme is designed to introduce participants to fundamental barista techniques through guided and hands-on learning.
Throughout the session, participants will learn how to prepare quality coffee beverages while developing confidence in handling basic barista equipment.

The programme covers several important areas of barista training. Participants will learn proper espresso extraction techniques to achieve better flavour and consistency.
In addition, the course introduces milk texturing and steaming techniques. These skills are important when preparing popular milk-based beverages such as cappuccino and latte.
Participants will also gain practical exposure to the preparation of different coffee-based beverages. Through hands-on activities, they can better understand the basic workflow and techniques used in a café environment.
