STEAM BOILER OPERATOR GRADE 2

Develop Your Steam Boiler Operator Competency

A five-day training course for candidates pursuing registration as a Steam Boiler Operator Grade 2.

General Eligibility

• Malaysian citizen
• Must not have been charged and found guilty of an offence under the Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994 (Act 514) or its regulations
• Must be certified medically fit by an Occupational Health Doctor (OHD) using the medical examination form available through MyKKP

Grade 2 Eligibility – Route 1

• Hold at least an SPM, SKM Level 2 in any field, or an equivalent qualification
• Have at least two years of work experience related to steam boiler operation, verified by the employer
• Attend a Steam Boiler Operator Grade 2 course conducted by a registered training provider
• Pass the Steam Boiler Operator Grade 2 examination at a recognised examination centre

Grade 2 Eligibility – Route 2

• Hold an SKM Level 3 in Steam Boiler
• Have at least one year of work experience related to steam boiler operation, verified by the employer
• Pass the Steam Boiler Operator Grade 2 examination at a recognised examination centre
