ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF LECTURER

1. EDUCATION DEVELOPMENT

1.1 Preparing a Learning Implementation Plan (RPP) and appropriate course learning materials to the students at least a week before the learning session begins.

1.2 Assisting students in building research and education knowledge and skills in a specific field of postgraduate study that is relevant to the master’s degree level.

1.3 Conduct Learning and Facilitation sessions (PdPc) in accordance with the Students Learning Time (SLT) requirements set by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA).

2. TIME MANAGEMENT

2.1 Notifying students of important dates such as assignments, tests or exams to ensure students are fully qualified to continue their studies.

2.2 Being accessible to the student for consultation and discussion of the student's academic progress and research. The frequency of the meetings will vary according to the discipline, stage of work, nature of project, independence of the students and etc.

2.3 Monitoring student productivity/ progress and provide constructive feedback and coaching

3. EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION

3.1 Responsive to any questions in all communication mediums used (Wechat, WhatsApp and others) and must respond to students within 24 hours. (if Necessary)

3.2 Lecturer shall maintain regular contact with their student's giving advice, guidance and recommendations related with academic purposes.

3.3 Communicate and provide advice to students through the UET Supervision System (e-log).

4. HIGH MOTIVATION

4.1 Encouraging students to prepare and present Master Project as scheduled

4.2 Advise and reassure the student to stay motivated and remind them that they can do the best among the best

5. REGULATION

5.1 Abiding by the relevant rules and regulations of the University.

5.2 Assist UTHMSwift to deal with issues related to the implementation of the program from time to time.

5.3 Others academic task shall be informed throughout the program.

5.4 Whatever tasks are mutually agreed upon from time to time between UTHMSwift and lecturers for improvement.

5.5 If the lecturer intends to reject the application after the application has been processed, the lecturer should notify UTHMSwift before the appointment letter is issued. The appointment letters will be issued within a week after the application closes.

6. HONORARIUM

6.1 The lecturer will be given an allowance of RM1,200.00/Credit Hour
