Course Coordination Meeting 2026/3: Refinement of Steam Boiler Operator and Steam Boiler Engineer Course Modules

UTHM Education & Training Sdn. Bhd. (UETSB) held Course Coordination Meeting 2026/3 to review and improve the course modules for the Steam Boiler Operator and Steam Boiler Engineer Grade 1 and Grade 2 programmes.

The main objective was to ensure that the modules comply with the latest DOSH 2025 Guidelines. As a result, the programmes will continue to meet current industry standards and regulatory requirements.

During the meeting, participants reviewed the learning plans for each programme. They also discussed the allocation of trainers for every module. In addition, the team considered the appointment of permanent and guest instructors to strengthen programme delivery.

Furthermore, the meeting covered the approval process for training provider accreditation. The team also agreed on several follow-up actions to support smooth implementation. These actions will help maintain quality, improve efficiency, and ensure compliance with industry requirements.

The updated course modules are designed to provide participants with relevant knowledge and practical skills. Therefore, graduates will be better prepared to perform their roles as qualified steam boiler operators and engineers.
