  3. you agree to comply with the applicable programme requirements; and
  4. you agree to these Terms and any programme-specific terms communicated by UETSB.

UETSB reserves the right to reject or cancel a registration where information provided is incomplete, inaccurate, fraudulent or does not meet the applicable programme requirements.

5. Programme Fees and Payment

All programme fees displayed on the website are subject to the terms stated for the respective programme.

Unless otherwise stated:

  1. payment must be made according to the payment instructions provided by UETSB;
  2. registration may only be confirmed upon receipt or verification of payment;
  3. participants are responsible for ensuring that payment details and transaction information are correct; and
  4. any applicable taxes, charges or administrative fees will be stated where relevant.

UETSB reserves the right to amend programme fees before registration or payment is completed.

6. Confirmation of Registration

Registration is not considered confirmed until UETSB has received the required registration information and, where applicable, the required payment.

A confirmation email, receipt, invoice or other official communication may be issued to the participant following successful registration.

Participants are responsible for checking their email and other contact details provided during registration.

7. Cancellation and Refund

Cancellation and refund requests shall be subject to the cancellation and refund policy applicable to the respective programme.

Unless otherwise stated in the programme-specific terms:

  1. cancellation requests must be submitted in writing through the official communication channel provided by UETSB;
  2. the eligibility for a refund will depend on the date the cancellation request is received;
  3. administrative charges or other applicable deductions may apply;
  4. no refund will be processed where the applicable refund period has expired; and
  5. refunds, where approved, will be processed according to UETSB’s applicable refund procedures.

Where a programme has a separate cancellation and refund policy, that policy shall prevail over this general provision in respect of cancellation and refund matters.

8. Programme Cancellation or Postponement by UETSB

UETSB reserves the right to cancel, postpone, reschedule or modify a programme due to circumstances including, but not limited to:

  • insufficient number of participants;
  • trainer or facilitator availability;
  • venue availability;
  • operational requirements;
  • technical issues;
  • health, safety or security considerations;
  • government requirements; or
  • circumstances beyond the reasonable control of UETSB.

Where a programme is cancelled or postponed by UETSB, participants will be informed through the contact details provided during registration.

Where applicable, UETSB may offer an alternative programme date, transfer to another programme, credit or refund in accordance with the applicable programme policy.

9. Participant Transfer and Substitution

Where permitted by the applicable programme, a registered participant may request to transfer their registration to another individual.

Any substitution request must be submitted to UETSB before the programme commencement date and is subject to approval.

UETSB reserves the right to reject a substitution request where the programme has specific eligibility, certification or registration requirements.

10. Attendance

Participants are expected to attend the programme according to the scheduled date and time.

Participants are responsible for ensuring punctual attendance and compliance with any attendance requirements communicated by UETSB.

Where attendance is required for the issuance of a certificate, participants must satisfy the applicable attendance and programme requirements.

11. Certificates

Where a certificate of participation, completion or other form of certification is provided, the issuance of such certificate is subject to the applicable programme requirements.

These requirements may include:

  • minimum attendance;
  • completion of required activities;
  • assessment requirements; or
  • other conditions communicated before or during the programme.

UETSB reserves the right not to issue or to withhold a certificate where the applicable requirements have not been fulfilled.

12. Intellectual Property
