Discussion on Edutourism Programme with Centre for Language Studies (CLS), UTHM

UTHM Education and Training Sdn. Bhd. (UETSB) held a discussion on the Japan Edutourism Programme UTHM with the Centre for Language Studies (CLS), UTHM. The proposed programme is designed for students from Japan.

The programme will focus on English language learning, daily communication practice, cultural activities, and educational visits in Johor. It aims to provide students with practical language experience while introducing them to Malaysian culture and education.

The meeting was attended by Associate Professor Dr. Haji Azmi Abdul Latiff, Dean of CLS; Associate Prof. Dr. Sazuliana Sanif, Deputy Dean (Academic and Students); and Madam Junko Hiyama, Japanese Language Teacher from Yamaguchi University.

Representing UETSB were Pn. Hanita and Pn. Elyya.

The discussion also explored suitable activities and learning experiences for the programme. In addition, both parties discussed ways to strengthen international collaboration through education and cultural exchange.

This collaboration is expected to create more opportunities for international edutourism programmes. It also supports UETSB’s effort to promote Malaysia as a destination for language learning, cultural exchange, and educational experiences.
