The Microsoft Project Construction Training officially commenced at Computer Lab 2, FKAAB, UTHM. UTHM Education & Training Sdn. Bhd. (UET) is pleased to welcome participants from Thai Guan Construction Sdn. Bhd. to this two-day professional training programme.

The first day began with participant registration followed by the commencement of the training session. Participants were introduced to the key concepts and practical applications of Microsoft Project in construction project management.

Microsoft Project Construction Training

The CPM Intermediate course focuses on strengthening practical skills in project planning, scheduling and project management. Throughout the programme, participants will learn how to use Microsoft Project more effectively to organise and manage construction activities.

In addition, the training provides participants with practical exposure to project scheduling techniques. These skills can support better planning, monitoring and coordination throughout different stages of a construction project.

The programme is conducted by Assoc. Prof. Ir. Ts. Dr. Riduan Yunus, who guides participants through both technical concepts and practical applications. Through hands-on activities, participants can improve their understanding of project planning tools and techniques.

Strengthening Construction Project Management Skills

Furthermore, the training allows participants to apply Microsoft Project to realistic construction project scenarios. This approach helps participants understand how project schedules can support better decision-making and resource management.

The programme also encourages participants to strengthen their ability to monitor project progress and manage construction timelines. As a result, they can apply these skills more effectively within their respective work environments.

The Microsoft Project Construction Training reflects UET’s commitment to providing practical and industry-relevant professional development programmes. Such training supports organisations in strengthening workforce competency and improving project management capabilities.

UTHM Education & Training wishes all participants from Thai Guan Construction Sdn. Bhd. a productive and successful learning experience throughout the two-day programme.
