I had a truly valuable and enriching experience participating in the UTHM Global Academic Programme on Railway Technology and Industry Operations in Indonesia.
The programme was exceptionally well organised, combining academic learning with hands-on industrial exposure. The technical visits to MRT Jakarta, KCIC Whoosh High-Speed Rail, PT INKA, Politeknik Perkeretaapian Indonesia (PPI) Madiun and Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) Surabaya provided excellent insights into railway operations, rolling stock manufacturing, high-speed rail technology, railway education, and industry best practices.
Every visit was informative and professionally conducted, allowing participants to exchange knowledge with industry experts while gaining a deeper understanding of Indonesia's railway ecosystem. The programme also fostered meaningful networking among participants from academia and the railway industry.
My sincere appreciation goes to the UTHM Education & Training (UET) team for their outstanding planning, coordination and continuous support throughout the programme. Their professionalism and commitment ensured a smooth, enjoyable and rewarding learning experience.
I highly recommend UET's international training programmes to railway professionals, researchers, and students seeking practical exposure and global perspectives in railway technology and operations. Thank you for an unforgettable and impactful experience.

The training was informative and well-structured, provide a clear understanding of the Project Management, CPM and its application using Microsoft Project. Trainer explained the concepts clearly, and the practical exercises helped reinforce the learning experience. Overall, this training enhanced my knowledge and confidence in using Microsoft Project for project planning, scheduling, and progress monitoring.

The REM Type 2 training conducted by UTHM was comprehensive, well-structured, and highly informative. The course provided a good balance between theoretical knowledge and practical applications, making the content easy to understand and relevant to real-world situations. The trainers were knowledgeable, engaging, and willing to address participants’ questions throughout the sessions. The hands-on exercises and case studies further enhanced the learning experience by allowing participants to apply the concepts effectively. Overall, this training has significantly improved my understanding of REM Type 2 requirements and has increased my confidence in applying the knowledge in my work. I would highly recommend this training to professionals involved in energy management and related fields.
