A site visit to Tanjung Piai, the Southernmost Tip of Mainland Asia, was successfully conducted on 28 January 2026, bringing together key stakeholders for meaningful discussions and engagement. Located in Johor, Tanjung Piai National Park is internationally recognised as the southernmost geographical point of mainland Asia. The site is also a significant part of Malaysia’s coastal and mangrove ecosystem, playing an important role in biodiversity conservation and sustainable tourism.
The visit provided an opportunity to explore the park’s key attractions, discuss tourism development opportunities, and strengthen collaboration in eco-tourism, environmental education, and sustainable destination management.

Visitor Information & Interpretation Centre
The Visitor Information and Interpretation Centre features educational exhibits highlighting the region’s mangrove biodiversity, wildlife conservation efforts, and ecological importance. It serves as an important hub for environmental awareness and learning.
Mangrove Boardwalk Experience

3-Country Jetty
