Thirteen UTHM staff members participated in the Integrated Smart Home Course: IoT, RF433 & Infrared at the HPE ARUBA Laboratory, FSKTM UTHM. The programme provided hands-on experience in smart device configuration, WiFi Smart Plugs, CCTV systems, RF433 technology, infrared devices and smart irrigation solutions. The training aims to strengthen digital competencies, encourage innovation and prepare staff to embrace emerging technologies and Industry 4.0.

UTHM Education & Training Sdn. Bhd. (UETSB) conducted an HRD Corp accreditation consultation session with UTHM staff via Google Meet on 9 July 2026. The session provided guidance on the accreditation process, compliance requirements, programme documentation and opportunities for improvement. The proposed collaboration aims to strengthen competencies, improve employability and develop future-ready professionals who can meet the evolving needs of Malaysia's oil and gas industry.

UTHM EduTrain Retreat 2026 brought the team together for two memorable days in Mersing, Johor, focused on teamwork, collaboration and stronger workplace relationships. Activities included team bonding, a BBQ gathering, island hopping, hiking at Pulau Sri Buat, snorkeling and island exploration. The retreat provided meaningful experiences that strengthened communication, trust and team spirit while encouraging a positive and collaborative work culture.

Bhd. to the Microsoft Project in Construction Project (CPM Intermediate) training held from 1 to 2 July 2026 at FKAAB, UTHM. The two-day programme focuses on strengthening practical skills in project planning, scheduling and construction project management using Microsoft Project.
