The guitar class UTHM titled “Zero to Hero, Hero to Pro” was conducted on 9 May 2026 at the Sports and Cultural Centre, Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM). The program focuses on nurturing musical talent and helping participants develop guitar skills from beginner to advanced level. In addition, it provides a structured learning environment that supports steady skill improvement.
The HRD Corp accreditation recording session with UETSB was successfully conducted on 8 May 2026 at the UTHM-Fraunhofer IEM Innovation Lab, Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia. The session took place from 9.30 AM until 12.30 PM and focused on supporting accreditation requirements and strengthening training quality initiatives. In addition, the activity reflected continuous efforts to maintain professional standards in training implementation and development.
The international collaboration discussion was successfully held on 7 May 2026 involving industry and academic representatives from multiple organizations. The session focused on exploring collaboration opportunities in upskilling, talent development, and industry-driven professional training programs. In addition, the discussion highlighted future initiatives that can strengthen global workforce readiness and technical education development.
The HRD Corp accreditation session took place on 4 May 2026 at the Training Room, UTHM Education & Training. The session ran from 9.00 AM until 12.00 PM. The main objective was to strengthen training quality and ensure compliance with HRD Corp standards. In addition, the session supported continuous improvement in professional training delivery.
The marketing upskill course was successfully held on 28 April 2026 at Bilik Seminar MiNT-SRC, Level 2, UTHM. The program focused on improving participants’ marketing knowledge and practical skills to support business growth and digital competitiveness. In addition, the course aimed to strengthen marketing capabilities among entrepreneurs and professionals.
The RTI compliance audit by the Energy Commission was successfully completed at UTHM Education & Training Sdn. Bhd. on 28 April 2026. The session evaluated compliance practices and ensured that training implementation follows required regulatory standards. In addition, the audit supported continuous improvement in operational quality and governance.
The UTHM edutourism site visit was conducted at Pulau Kukup, Johor National Park to assess the suitability of the location for future program implementation. The visit focused on identifying the site’s potential for educational tourism activities and experiential learning based on natural environments. In addition, the session helped the team evaluate how the location can support meaningful outdoor learning experiences.
The Johor youth leadership program presentation and discussion session was successfully held on 24 April 2026 with the Institut Dato’ Onn (IDO). The session focused on planning the Youth Leadership Training Program: Dewan Muda Johor 2026. It also aimed to strengthen coordination and ensure effective implementation of the initiative.
The systematic literature review workshop under JBS SPHERE took place successfully on 22–23 April 2026 from 8.00 AM to 5.00 PM. The 2-day intensive program focused on helping participants produce high-impact journal publications using the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach. Participants explored structured methods for academic writing and learned how to plan, organize, and develop strong research papers for publication, which gave them a clear and practical learning experience.
The abattoir competency certificate course took place successfully from 22 to 23 April 2026 at MyRIVET Lounge, UTHM. The program focused on strengthening knowledge and skills in halal slaughterhouse management. It also highlighted Shariah compliance and current industry standards.
